Terms and Conditions for Businesses

Every business needs a good, solid set of T&Cs so that all parties understand their rights, duties, and responsibilities right from the start.

For an upfront, fixed fee, I can provide you with draft T&Cs, unique to your business that will protect you from all the problems that crop up in business from time to time.

Assumptions this service is based upon:

  • That you correctly provide details of the products or services, you provide to your clients/the users;
  • That your business is our client, we do not provide services to individuals or consumers
  • That you understand that this is not a regulated law firm, but a Legal Services Provider, providing only services that are not regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority;

Freelancer Agreement

The agreement exists to protect the freelancer, who is getting a guarantee of the money they will receive for the work delivered, and the company, who is getting a guarantee of the work and deliverables they can expect. As it’s a legal document, it could be used in court in case something went wrong.

Don’t risk it and make sure your Freelancer Agreement is robust and drafted by an experienced professional.

Sub-Contractor Agreement

A subcontracting agreement is an agreement between the main contractor and a person or company (a subcontractor) delegating part of the main contractor’s work or obligations.

This agreement will help to ensure compliance with the terms of the main contract.

Partnership Agreement

If you run a business with at least one other person, and your business is not a limited company, then you should have a partnership agreement in place. That’s the case even for family-run businesses, which tend to have more informal arrangements.

A partnership agreement sets out how the relationship between the partners and how partners interact with each other. It will clarify important issues such as:

  • How profits are distributed
  • How decisions are made in the business
  • What happens when a partner retires or leaves the partnership
  • How you’ll deal with disputes between the partners

This service is for drafting a partnership agreement, in circumstances where the key terms of business are already agreed upon between the partners. If you would like a lawyer to review a partnership agreement that has been drafted elsewhere, in order to advise you on your risks and rights, please select our reviewing documents service.

Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)

A non-disclosure agreement (NDA) is a legally binding document that gives your business protection when you share confidential information with a third party. It’s also known as a Confidentiality Agreement.

Third parties can potentially use leaked confidential information to give your competitors an unfair advantage, or harm your business in other ways. An NDA prevents contractors, consultants, and employees from revealing your trade secrets. The party or parties signing the NDA agree that sensitive information they may obtain will not be made available to anybody else.

This service is for business owners who need a new Non-Disclosure Agreement to protect confidential information that they provide to third parties in the course of their business dealings.

If you have received an NDA which you would like a lawyer to review before you sign, please see our service for reviewing documents.

Or if you’d like a lawyer to review your existing NDA to advise on its effectiveness, please consult the service for reviewing documents.

Working with Molly was so easy

Thank you for helping me with my terms and conditions.
Over the past couple of years, my business has grown and evolved, which led to offering a wide range of services and support. The terms I had in place were limited to coaching and did not offer the level of protection I required or the right assurances for my clients as they are often highly regulated and very sensitive to data protection and protecting their clients.
Working with Molly was so easy, we had a zoom conversation about my business where she probed and question until she had a good sense of what I needed to cover in my terms. They were then draft and returned to me quickly so I could read through and raise any questions.
Molly and I then had a second conversation where she helped me understand the technical legal speak before agreeing to some final changes.
I felt supported, understood and protected (Not to mention how straightforward the pricing is).
